Swimmer Spotlight: Summer Sanders
American swimmer Summer Sanders first caught the swimming world's attention in 1989 when she won three gold medals at the Pan Pacs. She then went on to join the USA Olympic swimming team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics where she won two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal in various events. After the 1992 Olympics, Sanders became a television personality, working as a swimming commentator while also hosting "NBA Inside Stuff" where she got to cover Michael Jordan. She talks about that experience here.
Just last month, she was interviewed by Swimming World magazine and she recently appeared on Good Morning Sacramento.
